  I found this place shortly after having a really awful experience at a pet rescue in Kansas City. These people are caring, compassionate and friendly which made me feel much better about rescuing from them. We found our sweet Boston terrier who had lived in a puppy mill situation before she came here and she brings so much joy and happiness to our life. Golden Paw was courteous, prompt and up front with their information regarding the animals they house. I also enjoy the fact that they let them outside to play and have such a large and lovely property. If you find the time to read about how it was founded, I would recommend it. They also do pet grooming as a way to fund their vet care and I find that rather charming. I would highly recommend this place. We love our sweet Peach and we love supporting rescues/shelters who love animals as much as we do.
